This is an approximately one minute long ride - from the sandy beach to the main road - on a Vineyard Cruiser electric fat bike, shown in real time from the rider’s perspective. The bike was set on the medium level of pedal assist for the whole ride and the throttle was not used. The path is soft and sandy at the beginning and through to the middle where it then transverses through leaves, blacktop, and a wood bridge/pathway before ending at the road. The motors on the Vineyard Cruiser electric fat bikes are very quiet and discreet. As shown in this video of our standard bike pulling our fat tire bike trailer down a sidewalk (in which the sound has not been edited at all), a person standing just feet away from the rider can barely hear the motor as they go by. The sound of the tires on the ground - or the wind in the ear of the rider - tend to make the most noise, and those around you are unlikely to guess it’s an electric bike unless they happen to notice that you’re not pedaling.
